PancakeSwap Integrates Zyfi for Gas-Free DeFi Trading

PancakeSwap has improved its user experience by offering gas-free transactions through a new integration with Zyfi on zkSync Era.

With this integration, users of the decentralized exchange (DEX) can now enjoy gasless transactions on selected token pairs. The transaction fees for these pairs will be covered by PancakeSwap, zkSync, or other decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

Gas-free transactions aim to make DeFi more accessible to mainstream users and potentially increase adoption. Chef Brownie, PancakeSwap‘s marketing

“Gas-free transactions remove a major barrier for new DeFi users and simplify the trading process. By allowing gas payments with various ERC-20 tokens, we make transactions smoother and more accessible, enhancing user satisfaction and promoting wider adoption.”

Previously, new DeFi users had to purchase Ether before making trades, as ETH is used to pay transaction fees on the Ethereum network.

The new integration allows PancakeSwap users to pay gas fees using over 10 different ERC-20 tokens, eliminating the need to hold ETH for gas fees.

Currently, PancakeSwap ranks as the sixth largest DEX with over $311 million in daily trading volume, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Summary Review: PancakeSwap’s integration with Zyfi for gas-free transactions aims to simplify and enhance the DeFi trading experience, making it more accessible for a broader audience and potentially attracting users from centralized exchanges.
