APhone, a decentralized smartphone provider, has teamed up with Aethir to introduce a new scaling solution that significantly lowers costs and boosts performance.
This partnership promises to expand APhone’s capacity to handle ten times more users, now supporting over 800,000 daily users. It also reduces the monthly cost for users to under $0.60, down from over $6— a reduction of more than 90%.
The dramatic drop in costs is thanks to Aethir’s cloud computing network, which uses distributed GPUs. William Paul Peckham, APhone’s chief business officer, explained:
“Aethir managed to cut costs by optimizing operations and negotiating good deals with hardware makers and data centers. Their technology lets us use the same hardware more efficiently, providing high-quality service without needing extra equipment.”
This new solution will save APhone over $3.2 million every three months, thanks to Aethir’s advanced infrastructure.
